A friend and her husband packed all their stuff in one case expecting it to be OK as they were under the limit of 30kg. They were told they had to pay an excess baggage charge! So if they had split their stuff and taken 2 cases they would have been ok. Mad or what? And apparently people were taking on hand luggage the size of small suitcases to be stowed in the cabin. You have been warned! |

Creative packing is often necessary. I often take a bag with some food and drink with me to allow for delays and small and heavy things go in that. I usually have a cardigan on the luggage trolley with something under that. Having said that, I usually travel light. _________________
