We have got a few of these plants in our front and back garden . One big varigated one, lovely.
Anyway some soil got put on a lower branch and it rooted it's self.
How clever.

you could do layering, but it does take time.
cut a nick in the side of a longish stem, and put into the ground and cover with soil. and wait, then cut off the stem from the parent plant then you have a new plant, but it will take a season to get it to root.
