No harm in having a backing track, the solo singers have backing singers on stage with them, but I agree the backing WAS a bit too loud, would have preferred to hear more of them. They HAVE to do well anyway, cos JLS are my initials!

I thought your initials were NP?

re sounds levels I think there is a diference between how you would set up the mikes etc. for a live broadcast and how you would do it for recording a show, so maybe we don't hear what the audience and judges hear?

just joking

no don't blow your cover

actually I ought to know what your initials are, because I posted a Michael Ball video to you ages ago...

but I'm blowed if I can remember them and I'm sure your pm with your address on fell out of the bottom of my inbox ages ago

so your cover is safe

I think Diana is great!  Her voice wasn't the best on Saturday, but generally speaking, I like her because her voice is quirkly and interesting.  We have to remember she is only 17.  That's why I  like Rachel.  Rachels first song was brilliant, but her 2nd was a bit wrong.

Daniel was actually growing on me.  I thought he was boring, but in the last few weeks he has really picked up his game.  He was never going to win.  But I think he will go on to have a very good career.

I'm not kean on Eoghn.  It's boring.  Apart from last week when he did the upbeat number - which was fun - hs songs seem repetitive and boring.
I wouldn't be surprised if he won though, he has the same thing as Leon had - a whole country voting for him whether they are rubbish or not.

Well I thought Daniel was rubbish and he should have gone weeks ago. Don't like Diana she has a squeak in her voice thought Eoghan was great.
Next one to go should be Rachael because she can't sing either.

I like Alexandra, Ruth, Eoghan and JLS, but in no particular order. Rachel to go next.............hopefully, closely followed by Diana.

I like Rachel.  She has a bit of an attitude, but this is probably a front because of the life she has led.  Also, the press are crucifying her, and seem to be trying to dig every little secret about her.
It's about the voice, and she has a great voice.  It's not perfect, but I don't like perfect people or perfect voices.  Her voice is different and she should sing soul or real r&b.

I like Diane too, her voice is quirky.

Eoghn to go, I think he's boring.  I wish he would sing more upbeat songs, like tonights.  Sick of the one-paced slow stuff.

Alex started off a bit dull, but picked it up.

JLS, ok.  I like the way they gel together.

Ruth was great.

I think this week was one of the most boring weeks so far, none of the contestants grabbed my attention this week at all although I think Alex and Ruth gave good performances again.

Bottom two for me this week would be Diana and either Rachel or JLS.

I thought Laura was going to win, now she's out I hope JLS win.
