Very Happy I have been twice, stayed at the Jasmin Beach Apartments so will happily answer any queries I can.

I have stayed at the Jasmin as well. Also the Pakim Palace and the Tenedos Hotel.
I love Gumbet but not in the high season it is very noisy. OK, it's an age thing. We could not find a bar that wasn't playing thump thump music. May June September Oct was great it was like a different resort. Before I get howled down I noticed a great difference in going straight from Gumbet to Icmeler last year in July. Icmeler was much more low key in high season.

Stayed at Hotel Mels on the beach 5 years ago

Just booked for the Turihan Hotel.....also on the beach .

I love Gumbet/Bodrum area don't get me wrong I liked Marmaris but I prefer Gumbet I think the people are more friendly and you don't get hassled so much.
