Check your hotel price!

We're booked to go to Vegas next month. We put the trip together ourselves - booked flights, hotel, car hire, etc separately.

We booked the hotel back in February (!!).

On Sunday - and don't ask me what made me check - I logged on to the hotel's website, and found that for the same room, for the samer period, it was now $400 cheaper .

As you get charged the rate you booked at, I rebooked at this lower rate, and then cancelled the original booking, and got the deposit back.

If you're travelling independently to the US, it's probably worth checking the hotel rates regularly before you go

When we went last year I was checking the hotel rates on a weekly basis....I changed my bookings in all 3 hotels at least twice per hotel before I went
